Austin + Hannah | Wedding | Saint Louis Wedding Photographer – Evalyn & Co.

March 18th, 2018

Six years of exploring bourbon distilleries, making memories at the lake, and having fun with family and friends and Austin and Hannah found themselves at Dead Low Brewery in Cincinnati, OH early January last year and came home engaged! The trip sounded magical as Hannah purchased a Christmas present for them to enjoy a helicopter ride over downtown Cincinnati followed by a dinner at the Dead Low Brewery where the magic happened. Hannah told me Austin was acting kind of strange all day, but she didn’t think much of it. Once they finished the flight and got to the brewery, they ordered some drinks and food, that’s when Austin popped the question right there in the middle of the brewery! We can all cheers to that!

It was the best time being there to cheers with them at their wedding too! As you may know Mother Nature and St. Louis has a strange relationship. We are pretty certain they got the April Showers and May Flowers saying backwards, well at least the Showers part because it was a rainy day and has been all month long. It was pretty clear it wasn’t going to miss us, so we had undercover location and umbrella plans worked out in advance. Though, at one point we thought it was going to be clear, but the radar changed its mind quickly and showed us. It didn’t stop these two from having a perfect wedding day.

The St. Joseph’s Parish Church framing was super cool as it was rounded and made for some awesome picture places! The stainless window pieces were a cherry on top. It was so sweet that Hannah had her mother and grandparents in to see her before she walked down the aisle. Family is no doubt the most important thing in both of their lives. They both had big families! Family formals average about 30 images, but there is close to 100 frames to choose from in their gallery. Bridal Party photos led us to Kienzer Plaza where we got just a few photos when it down poured on us. The bus loaded up quickly and our team followed to the Muny so we all were undercover. Even though there were a few other Bridal Parties there too, we still got amazing photos of everyone and the rain let up just enough to get a few around the Park.

Let’s talk about an EPIC reception! Hannah and Austin were the life of the party and everyone had a ball. Guests of all ages were constantly on the dance floor which made for the best Dance Floor photos. Photographer Rebecca, thought the highlight of the night was when Hannah had a First Dance with her Grandfather. This may have been a first for our wedding team and it was such a heartfelt moment the whole room felt. Though Hannah and Austin didn’t escape on honeymoon getaway, they were busy packing up and moving into a brand new home! I personally believe that’s an even better way to spend your newly wed season, making their new house a home!

Cheers Hannah and Austin! It was EPIC and one we won’t forget.
